  ICCD  is planned to help prepare in meeting all much needed English Language, Computer, Business management, Finance, accounting, Commerce, sales, Marketing, Law and other needs as one stop centre equipped to provide competency assured learning quality education and skill requirements to enhance prospects in today’s and tomorrow world of work.

ICCD is offering a unique opportunity to help gain a one year international diploma mainly in English language and information technology with other supplementary subjects to suit all present and future career needs. Effective communication skills are critical in today’s technology-driven workplace. The  ICCD  is uniquely positioned to help you with your goal of learning and using English, computer ,accounting and others for your career success

Through our Centre  you will:

  • Improve your scores on English examinations.
  • Select from many course options targeted at your specific needs and interests, such as grammar or business English.
  • Gain immediate online feedback to improve proficiency more rapidly. Gain exposure to the English language through multimedia, including audio, text illustrations, and video. You will increase your proficiency with learning styles that match your learning preferences.
  • Work with a variety of interactive materials that keep you motivated, interested and challenged.
  • Access optional online support tools such as help screens, dictionary, tutorials and translations, resulting in an efficient and complete learning experience.
  • Practice English both at the centre  and within the local community.

The learning experience begins with a needs analysis followed by an online placement and oral assessment. Your Advisor will use the results of these tools to determine your English proficiency and place you at the appropriate level. In the classroom, you will be provided with a workbook, topic-related handouts, and a guided discussion lesson plan, as well as detailed information about online and face-to-face assignments. Some projects will also use the Internet, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word and Excel.

The ICCD  English Language Program consists of eighteen (18) courses divided into six levels starting from  Beginner to Upper Advanced.

Each course provides approximately 64 learning hours and consists of the following:

  • General English Course – 16 hours
  • Computer-Based Course – 16 hours
  • Conversation Course – 16 hours   
  • Mini-Project Course – 16 hours

Conversation Skills Class - Real use of the language is crucial for effective communication. Conversation Classes allow for social interaction in English with other learners.

  • Small group size consisting of a variety of learners.
  • Real-life discussions take place.
  • Learners actively participate with an instructor present to guide discussions.

Mini Projects - Learners have a unique opportunity to enhance specific skill areas by working on projects which are customized by the instructor.

  • Business Skills: Negotiations, Presentations, Report Writing
  • Social Skills: Cultural, Protocol
  • Communications Skills: Idioms, Accent Reduction
  • Technology Skills: Office Applications such as PowerPoint and Word
